Heather is known for her professionalism and talent for creating meaningful and personalized interiors. In addition to fifteen years of residential and hospitality design experience, Heather is NCIDQ-certified, New Mexico licensed, a professional member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), a member of the New Mexico Licensing Board, and most recently a LEED Green Associate. Her work has been featured in Hospitality Design, Western Interiors and she has been named one of the Top 20 designers under 40 in Mountain Living. She has appeared on HGTV and is listed on the Western Interiors' Gold List of Interior Designers. Heather graduated with highest distinction from the New York School of Design and received a B.A. from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland.
Mark joined HVLI after receiving an A.A.S. degree in Interior Design. He works on both residential and hospitality design projects. In addition to his design responsibilities, Mark also manages the purchasing contracts and the marketing initiatives for the firm. Prior to coming to HVLI in 2008, Mark worked in some of the country’s largest advertising agencies as a strategic planner and project manager where he directed multiple team efforts on such brands as Shell Oil, Continental Airlines and PepsiCo. His personable demeanor, professionalism, and strong organizational skills allow him to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service.
Steffany is a New Mexico licensed interior designer, NCIDQ-certified, listed on the National Heritage Registry of Who’s Who in Interior Design, and sits on the ASID National Board of Directors. Steffany started her nineteen-year interior design career in Dallas, Texas. Her design philosophy is creating sophisticated, well-edited, artistic interiors regardless of style. She has appeared on HGTV and her work can be seen in the several books such as Leading Residential Interior Designers and New Adobe Home. Steffany holds a B.S. in Interior Design from Oregon State via Texas Tech University.
Karen received her B.S. in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and also holds a B.A. in Mass Communications. She has a background in new construction and remodeling as well as eighteen years of sales and management experience in the hospitality and health club industries. Karen brings her creative energy and passion for design to HVLI’s hospitality projects where she focuses on AutoCAD drafting, construction document management and purchasing. Karen is the incoming President of ASID’s New Mexico Chapter and an active member of Design Santa Fe.
