Mountain Respite

“HVL Interiors was chosen for their respected hospitality experience to help us launch our upscale luxury RV Resort, a complex consisting of three buildings, parking and activity areas set amongst a rustic and serene natural wonderland in Angel Fire, NM. The designs reflect the vision set out of a mountain modern adventure, and they carefully and thoughtfully executed the plan working closely with the architect and our management team.”

A high-end RV resort in a mountain valley embraces a sophisticated take on regionalism for a fresh lodge look. A pervasive and contemporary sense of place derives from a color palette founded in the woods and meadows surrounding the park, combined with patterns and textures evoking bison, tepees, and local botanicals. The typical heaviness often found in mountain interiors, is turned upside down with a focus on lighter finishes and furnishings that conjure up an organic contemporary direction and include driftwood benches and mirrors, concrete and steel. Exploring and exploding the idea of an RV park, the design honors the environment and the varied activities and adventures to be found in the area, resulting in not only a place to stop for a few nights, but a part of New Mexico to explore.
