Soul Food
Through a skillful blending of old and new, a recently expanded New Mexico restaurant space returns to its roots in the culture and brand of a well-respected Native-run resort. A color palette of obsidian, saddle leather, deerskin cream, and mica grey draw on the landscape and the history of its inhabitants while finishes of natural stones, rustic woods, patinaed steel, boldly patterned fabrics, and laser cut steel art panels tell a story of the place’s soul.
A custom display of the history of the Pojoaque Pueblo allows the artifacts and bespoke copper representation of Pojoaque lands to further accentuate the sense of place that has been the resort’s draw since the beginning.
