A spacious contemporary residence that follows the topography of the Sangre foothills and boasts spectacular city views.
Our well-traveled, connoisseur clients asked for their dated, incongruous interior to be updated with an urban feel to transport them to some of their favorite cities.
Our thorough updating of the home started with a remodel that improved its physical and visual flow. From end to end, rooms and areas have been revived. An outdated kitchen became a luxurious, light-filled open space; the master bath was reimagined with spa-like comforts; a catch-all room was made into a highly efficient his/her office with German-made cabinetry, an unloved patio was remade for modern outdoor living.
For the interior, we curated a palette of materials that carried through each room, choosing pewter patinaed steel, sandstone, nubby fabrics, and leather. Classic neutrals — taupe, charcoal, cream, cloud gray, cognac — and sophisticated but unfussy furnishings foreground the owners’ collected art.
