“It was apparent from HVL Interior’s questions of each stakeholder that they had done thoughtful research about our company, the brand and our goals. They were able to synthesize the information quickly, bridge the gaps between various concepts, and come up with a design that maximized the form and functionality of the space.  Everyone we worked with at HVL Interiors added value to the project and was incredibly helpful throughout our project.”

Senior Vice President, Precept Wine Company

An underwhelming tasting room for a highly respected local winemaker is remade into an open and warm celebration of wine, wine culture, and the brand’s peerless history. Supporting the vineyard’s story of French roots and American dreams, the new design features vintage viticulture equipment, family photos spanning 50 years, plastered walls, reclaimed wood, antlers and saddle blanket fabrics, with a custom mural linking the family’s past in Northeastern France to its present in Central New Mexico. The design principles reflected both the sophistication of the product and the no-nonsense and proven approach of the winery: Honesty, simplicity, and well-honed taste married with elegance and refinement. A highly engaged client, with a strong sense of place, leads to a design partnership that is as much about honoring the past as it being open to the future.
